Drone Technology Workshop Conducted at P. R. Pote College, Amravati Amravati, A 5 days Drone Technology Workshop was successfully organized at P. R. Pote Patil College of Engineering and Management, Amravati in collaboration with KITS Tech Learning, Akola. and IEEE Team of P. R. Pote Patil College of Engineering and Management, Amravti. The event aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of drone technology, its components, real-time applications, and hands-on experience in assembling and flying drones. The workshop was attended by 60 students from various departments including Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. The session was led by expert trainers from KITS who provided deep insights into: Basics of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) Types of drones and their applications in various industries Flight control systems and GPS navigation Drone laws and safety regulations in India Live drone assembly and test flights on campus Students had the opportunity to assemble mini drones, learn about their aerodynamics and electronics, and participate in live flying sessions under expert supervision. The interactive sessions and practical exposure were highly appreciated by the participants. The event concluded with a Q&A session and distribution of certificates of participation. Faculty members expressed that such workshops are essential to keep students updated with evolving technologies and foster innovation at the academic level.
